Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LoopIn ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be a current student, faculty member, or staff of a participating university, verified through a university-issued email address, to use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on LoopIn. By posting content, you grant LoopIn a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use the App for spam or commercial purposes
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the App
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the App

LoopIn has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any post, message, event, listing or user from inside the App, and block any user at any time. Reported content is reviewed and removed when it breaks these terms, and accounts that post it or harass other users may be suspended or removed.

6. Using LoopIn’s Features

LoopIn is not responsible for events or study sessions posted by users. Users are responsible for verifying event details and obtaining necessary permissions for organizing events. Campus and nearby listings may come from external organizers; confirm dates, availability, prices and entry requirements with the source before attending.

Frosty and Study Rooms

Frosty is LoopIn’s AI study companion. Its explanations, notes and practice materials can contain mistakes. Check important answers and follow your course’s rules on AI use. Only upload materials you have permission to use. Room messages and voice transcripts are shared with the room; tools marked “Only you” stay private unless you share them. News and Pulse

News summaries and game updates may be incomplete or delayed. Original sources remain available for context. Pulse uses free virtual points with no cash value; points cannot be bought, sold or withdrawn.

Market and passes

The current public release offers free event passes and Market pay-at-pickup. Paid checkout and Apple Pay are not available. Buyers and sellers arrange their exchange directly. Feature availability can vary by campus.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

LoopIn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
